Teaching and training our children in the gospel is a vital part of the mission of Liberty Baptist Church. God has given us many young hearts and minds to disciple, and we seek to point these young ones to Jesus every time they participate in our classes and activities. Because the Lord has blessed us with many children, we frequently need volunteers to serve with our children, and we would love for you to participate in this vital ministry!
Serving in Our Children’s Ministry
So you want to help out in our children’s ministry? That’s great! We are thankful for your desire to serve our children and families. In order to help us ensure the safety of our children and other workers, you will need to complete the four steps below. If at any point you have a question, please email us.
Step 1 – Application
After you are affirmed as a member, the first step is to fill out an application. You can do this by clicking the link below and filling out the online form.
Step 2 – Background Check
Once we’ve received your application, we will invite you to complete a criminal background check, which will be returned to LBC. You will have 14 days to complete and submit the background check information.
Step 3 – Training
Once we’ve received your application, you will also receive a link to complete an online training. This training consists of a few brief videos and a comprehension quiz. This training session takes about an hour to complete and will prepare you to better serve our children. After completing the training, please take a brief moment to read our Children’s Ministry Policy.
Step 4 – Interview
After you have completed Steps 1-3, a member of our Child Protection Team will follow up with you to schedule a time for an interview and answer any questions you may have.
Once you have completed all four steps in the process above, our Child Protection Policy Administrator will connect with you to issue you an ID badge, allowing you to serve with the children of LBC! Thank you for serving with children at Liberty Baptist Church!
Sincerely,
CPP Administrator, Alyssa Gandy
